Medellín has many interesting sights, however, like most of South America, there is a fine line between the rich and the poor. To give you an idea of how long this road is, I took these photos from a moving vehicle.
Not only is the area overpopulated by families living below the breadline, there is also a devastating drug and alcohol problem. It is a daily challenge for these people to find food and basic human comforts. Something that many of us take for granted.
